Hi. I’m doing a multicam edit and to check sync between cameras, I want to be able to hear audio from one camera while watching another to verify good sync between cameras, but whenever I mute or solo an audio track, the associated video track also mutes or solo’s. How can I get Davinci to just let me mute and solo the tracks that I want to mute and solo?

Does anyone have any suggestions for this? This continues to be a source of frustration for me.

Tim, can you “Option-Click” on the audio clip you want to disable and right-click on it and uncheck “Enable Clip?”

The Multicam container by default wants to group the Linked Video & Audio together but if you try the above method, it should allow you to do what you’re trying to do with muting tracks of audio in a Multicam clip.
