  • Music won’t play in 60fps timeline?

    Hey all,

I’m trying to edit some 59.94 GoPro footage in an AVCHD 1080p60 timeline in Premiere Pro. For some odd reason, my music won’t play at all. I’ve been editing in a 30fps timeline and the music plays perfectly. When I transfer the edit to the 60fps timeline and export it, the finished product has all the music intact. It’s just playback in the 60 timeline. Am I missing something?

    I’d appreciate any advice!

Not sure why it’s happening. The first thing to try is convert to wav (if mp3) from your 30P timeline and see if that works in your 60P track.

Thanks for the reply! But the music track is already a wav file. And now i’m realizing it’s all audio tracks, not just my music file. Hm. I just recently updated my OS to Yosemite, I wonder if it’s a bug that popped up?

Make a new project and see of the files will play or not.
Usually its not a good idea to update/grade in the middle of a project.

I actually did start this project after I updated. I’ve also gone in to several of my projects that I’ve done both pre and post update and none of them will play audio in 60fps sequences.

As you suggested, Ann, I tried making a new project and still no dice. I’m totally baffled!
