Hello. I’ve read some threads on trying to get best quailty of video to show on the web. It seems advice is determined greatly on the case specifics, so here is mine. I’m trying to get the highest quailty of my music videos on my webpage and my myspace page. All the videos are five minutes or shorter. Some were filmed in HD others in regular dv transfer of film. They were all edited on final cut. I’m trying to reach bands and production companies. The production companies will have the lastest versions of media players and probably a good/fast internet connection. For the bands, who knows some may be on dial up some maybe on cable or dsl. The applications I have already are compressor and final cut HD I’d like to keep my webpage non flash becuase I don’t know much about it and currently use dreanmweaver to make the site.

Can you give some advice on the best compression techniques for the web. Is H264 the best?
