    Hey ,

So basically I’ve edited my whole entire music video already but I want to add transitions to it now . When I go to the transitions tab and try to drag one of them in between two clips it moves all of the other clips in the project which doesn’t sync the music and the video! Is there a way for me to place a transition in between two clips without the rest of the video moving and becoming out of sync ?

    Thanks

When you add the transition do you get a dialog box asking if you want to adjust the timeline? If you don’t have enough overlapping video you’ll get this box. It’s offering to overlap the two clips to create the transition. But as it warns, it will change the length of the timeline, and of course throw everything out of sync. Don’t ever say yes to it unless you know sync doesn’t matter. Perhaps there’s a checkbox to never ask again and you clicked it? I don’t remember.

Thanks for the response but I have never actually gotten that message before. Is there some where in the settings I can go to adjust that setting ??
