    I’m about to cut my first music video, I’ve been a commercial/promo editor for 6 years but have never done a music video. Any advice, tips? This is a stupid question but….how do you keep the music in sync, is it all timecode?

    Playback on set, with timecode, yes.

    On cam mic from the shoot, sync it with the final track in your sequence.
    ….and you won’t get the song out of your head for weeks afterwards…
