Hi want to get into creating some simple pieces of music for my projects. I can play a couple of instruments, and a simple chords on a piano, but I want to learn a bit about using some MIDI software. Can anyone give me some links to any sites explaining what software a beginner should start with.

As I said, I can play music on guitar, sax, harmonica and things like that, but nothing professional. I understand chords, and how they are created, but I can absolutely not play pianopieces. Am I still able to use MIDI programs and samplers to create music for my Premiere projects? Mostly low-budget commercial-stuff.

So….links for a beginner, tutorials for the programs. And what programs should I start with? I have just ordered M-Audio’s O2 MIDI-keyboard, just to start with.

    All the best!
