Multiprocessing and Memory
So I just installed 8gb of RAM into my system, making it 12 now. I have the skulltrail board with 2 xeon quads in it. Before i got the new RAM it said all 8 were installed and working with AE to help render/export. Now with it installed it’s saying it only has 4 cpu’s available. I went into device manager and saw that i have all 8 up and running. Ideas?

With 8 gb of RAM there was no possible way AE was using all the processing cores. What you are seeing now, 4 cores for 12 GB should be about right. At a minimum of 2Gb per core plus ram for other apps and background processes you should be able to use 4 cores for multiprocessing in AE.
