Hope I can make this clear… I have several layers of a PSD file loaded across the timeline in Vegas 10. I drop a line art image (black on white bg) into a track above the background track, use pan/crop to place the image into the composition properly, then set the line art’s track compositing mode to “multiply” which creates the effect I want, removing the white background and leaving the black line art on the screen, but it masks out everything else below the line art image, using the image’s dimensions as a mask.

I am a Photoshop user, and when you do this in PS – change the mode to multiply – the layers below are not masked out by the shape of the multiplied image, why is this happening in Vegas, and is there a simple way to fix it?

    Thank you for your response!
