  Multiple Video Grid and Zoom out

  First things first, I have Final Cut EXPRESS, not PRO, so I’m not sure what extra features Pro has. Anyways, my question:

  I want to do something very similar to what this video does at the end, starting at about time 1:39. https://vimeo.com/49595770.

  I have accomplished this using keyframes and whatnot, but it is not very precise. By not very precise, I mean that first, there seems to be no way to snap a video clip exactly to the size of the canvas… And then trying to calculate the exact size and position of the other clips at the end of zooming out is a nightmare…

  Maybe After Effects can do the trick more easily? I don’t know. I have access to After Effects on school computers if that is the best way, but I’m not familiar with the program.
