Posted by Joe Landau on February 24, 2008 at 8:08 pmIs there a way to insert the same transition between several clips with one action?

February 25, 2008 at 1:22 amNot that I know of. I use the shortcut alot. Hitting it as scrub my CTI (Playhead) near the cuts i want to be fades etc.
(Crtl + D) for set default vision transition (right click a transition and set as default)
(Ctrl + Shift + D) for set audio transition (right click an audio transition and set as default)
You can set the default length in preferences (edit>Pref) or click the little arrow in the top right cnr of the effects panel.

April 3, 2008 at 6:05 pmA way to add multiple transistions at once and the ability to choose wheather the timeline ripples back a second or not when you add a transistion are VERY high on my list too. Those 2 features would save me hours. Maybe in CS4:)
