If this has been addreesed before I apologize, but I’m working on 1-2 hour programs, which are shot with three HD cameras and I’m editing them using multiclip. Nearly all the transitions are 30 frame dissolves, so after I’ve collapsed the multiclips I’ve been selecting sections of my timeline & dragging them to overwrite media with transition to apply the 30 frame dissolve.

Works great most of the time, but occassionally after I do this the sync is nowhere close to being accurate, like in “never, never land”. I’m checking sync each time I do this, & redoing it with fewer clips if the sync is off. Obviously having the timeline cursor at the beginning of th first clip in the series is important to preserve sync so I’m concientious about doing this.

Anyone know a better way of applying multiple transitions without destroying sync?

    thx…jw
