    Hey,

    An FYI for those wondering…

This evening I made my machine a THREE dvd-burning monster, knocked out three 3gb discs in 10 minutes.

    Three Pioneer dvd-burners (dvr-105, dvr-107d, drv-108)
SIIG UltraATA 100 PCI card with two IDE channels (about $30)
SwiftDisc Burning software ($20, supports multiple burners and is dead easy to use)
    Maxtor 5400rpm drive, 40gb
    Intel 815PEBt2 motherboard
    Pentium IV 2.5ghz
    WindowsXP sp2

Each drive was on its own ide channel as a master, the files were a video_ts folder copied off an old burned dvd onto the desktop of the system drive.

When I get some more money, I’m going to try 4 drives 🙂

    Take care,

    Nick
