    Hello out there,

I’m trying to manage multiple FCP 6 projects with different A/V settings. For some reason, every time I start a new project, it re-sets the A/V settings for all other projects. Is there a way to lock-in the A/V settings for a project? I feel like this is a glitch or I’m just missing something!’

    Thanks for any advice,

    Kelly

I guess that info isn’t saved with a project. I make a custom Easy Setup for each show that has different settings than normal.

Does this mean that every time you open the project, you check the A/V settings?

    Hi Kelly
If you’re finding that managing your project settings manually for each project is impractical then you might want to check out Jon Chappell’s excellent (and free) Preference Manager helper application. It allows you to associate specific settings on a project by project basis by using the helper app as a FCP project launcher. Might be just what you need for your edit environment.
    Hope it helps
