Multiple Layers of Same Audio
A while ago someone tried to tell me I was full of it when I tried to tell them of this technique. Recently I had the pleasure of producing an event video. In the process of this some of the audio that the camera recoreded was a little weak.
It had been some time since I used this technique. I just copied and pasted the audio for several layers. I then adjusted the volume sliders until I liked what I heard.
Remember that Vegas has unlimited layers, and treats each layer individually. Using this method, I was able to bring up either whole sections of audio or even just small parts that were weak.
Just a tip for when the audio isn’t quite what you want it to be. When it was all rendered to an avi, and then a DVD, it played great and people enjoyed it. Without this method, I could only turn up the one track and not get the fullness I needed.
