is it possible to have multiple final cut versions on one machine?
I am using version 6 now but there is a plug in that I use almost daily
(Matinee) that no longer works in version 6 and they are not upgrading it.
So is it possible to load two versions of final cut pro 6 and 5 on the same machine?
I realize you could not have them both running at the same time but that plug in saves
    me so much time.
The ideal situation would be to get all the work I need done with the plug in in ver 5 and export the video to the raid and then open version 6 and finish the project.

I do this, but I run two separate boot drives to avoid any discrepancies and confusion. One drive as FCS1 and one has FCS2. Simply restart and hold option to choose which boot drive upon start up.

It’s the most fool proof way to go about it, in my opinion.
