    Hi

… built a precomp and applied animation to it .

Need 2 offset copies to with different footage but every time I change one all three change.

I am dragging the precomp from the top panel into the composition panel to get copies.

——- anyone know how to sort this please?

In the top panel, select your precomp and press “Cntl+D” this will make a new instance of the precomp, “precomp_2”. Then you can step into the new precomp and change the footage. If you have effects on the precomp in your final comp, select the precomp in the final comp and duplicate it. Now select “precomp_2” in the project panel and press “cntl+alt+/” and it will replace the selected precomp in the timeline.
