    HI all-

new to FCP X (was in 7). I have done the izzy tutorial so I have most of the important basics down. Here’s what I’m trying to do that I can’t figure out:

I have 1 piece of raw, continuous footage that i’ve loaded in. When we filmed this footage it was with one camera and we took many angles (set up, record, stop record, reset, record, stop record, reset, record… and so on. so all the angles are in this one long imported piece of footage.

I’m going to divide the footage up into clips, then i’d like to be able to take all the clips and add them together into a multi cam clip and easily switch back and forth (audio is irrelevant, we’re just playing music over it. and I”ll manually drag the clips to the proper place in the multi cam clip).

I’m not sure exactly how to create clips from a big clip then add them all to a multi cam shot.

    thanks
