multipass render failing every time
I am trying to render a multipass with two objects using compositing tags and image buffers – to get seperate alpha movies.
Ive used this method before and its been fine. But – i keep getting the message – ‘unable to write file’.
Ive tried copying and pasting into a new file, re routing the file paths – nothing works. When I switch multipass off the movie renders fine.
Any ideas?

For me, 9 times out of 10, this happens if the result is in use anywhere. Either opened in another program or if active in Finder (I’m on Mac) and thus used
by Finder for previewing the file.Cheers
