    Hi guys,

Just wondering if anyones come across this problem.
I’m rendering a multipass render using tiff (PSD layers). If i add the depth pass to the multipass list, then cinema renders not only the alpha channel to the rgba file but also the depth. It also adds another channel when i add the object buffer pass. So my RGBA file has the following R, G, B, Alpha, Depth, Object Buffer.

I should also mention that this is the same for the regular image that is saved and i’ve got multi-layer file turned off. It does render the rest of the multipasses correctly as seperate image sequences tho.

Why does it add all the extra channels if its supposed to be just an rgba pass? When i load this into after effects, AE doesn’t recognise the alpha and just says its all white. I’m assuming its because theres multiple channels. All i want is a 16bit render with an RGB + Alpha pass and all the other passes as seperate image sequences. Am using 11.5. We’ve also got the demo of v12 at the studio but have tried it on that and this time the rgba contains only the rgb + alpha channel when i turn on the depth pass, which is what i would expect.

Is this a bug with 11.5?

    Thanks
