    Hello,

Does anyone have any experience in doing 3D multipass compositing using a 3D app like Cinema4D in Motion. I’m wondering if there’s any training around on this or if someone can share some real life wisdom on best practices in 3D compositing.

I think there might be something in the Shake manual too

After Effects has a clearly defined workflow for this that includes a z-space grayscale interpreter and a way to handle shadow catchers and place them into the scene accurately. Maybe in Motion 4?

This is my standard sigfile so do not take it personally: “For crying out loud, read the freakin’ manual.”
