    Hi,

So I’ve got a three camera project that I’m editing using multiclips. The content is DVCPRO HD 720P30. When I first worked with the footage it ran smooth even with my Viewer sync Open. After waiting a few days for notes from my client, I come back and now when I hit play the clip (particularly the audio) stutters and is out of sync. If I hit start/stop it will “catch up” and then play in sync. Makes it kind of hard to do a fine cut.

I tried moving my footage from my internal RAID to a brand new (and therefore this is the only footage) eSATA external My Book (RAID 0) It’s slightly better.

I’m wondering if the three streams need 150MB/sec? DeskSpeedTest rates the drive at 120.

Is this my problem? Is so, can someone recommend a better means to store footage?

Mac Pro – Quad 3Gig, 10G RAM, ATI Radeon HD 4870 1G VRAM, Internal softRAID – Three 250GB drives RAID 0, External MyBook Studio II connected via eSATA on the motherboard.

    Thanks!
