  • Multiclip – slipping the sync of clip in the multiclip, is this possible?

    Hi everyone,

I’m new to multiclip and find it absolutely amazing. Granted, I’ve been reading of some serious flaws with it. I’m on FCP 6.0.6. Working on a music video and they shot loads of takes. I’ve managed to figure out how to create a multiclip and so far it’s working. Unfortunately, a few of the clips are not perfectly synced.

Is there a way for slip the take that are out of sync without having to rebuild the entire multiclip?

Is there a way to slip a scene once it’s been cut into a sequence without disrupting the entire multiclip? For example, the first shot in the video is a dolly shot. The movement starts too late so I’d like to slip the shot so it starts later in the take.

Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

    Thanks!

    Will
