    Hi folks,

so a while back there was some discussion surrounding the fact that FCP5.02 Media Manager wouldn’t offline multiclips properly. I now find myself with the exact same problem. I’ve followed the usual procedure for an offline/online (a-la the article on Ken Stone) and all the clips work fine EXCEPT the multicam multiclips. Collapsing the multiclip doesn’t seem to do anything… FCP wants to digitise over 2 hours of material for a 12 min sequence.

I also tried exporting an EDL and an XML, but again the sequences want to digitise hours of material.

Did anybody ever figure this out or is this a bug waiting to be fixed/ignored?

    Thanks for any insights!

What exactly are your setting during Media Managing? Are you trying to preserve the MC angles. I think if you check the non active angles check box it should be working.
