Alright, so i’ve been trying for a day or two to get the Chicago C4D meeting up on the website, but first it needs to be editing. the best way to do this is with the multiclip edit in FCP but it is driving me nuts.
First it wouldn’t work with a 1024×768 resolution (everytime I clicked on an angle in the viewer it would stop playback and in the timeline the RT menu gave me a limited menu without multiclip playback as an option)
Now my issue is that during playback of the multiclip, the angles are not visible but one. and i can click on the different points of the viewer where the different angles would be, but without visual feedback of where I’m clicking makes it very hard to comprehend the edit. I’ve added a video so you can see exactly what I mean.
Any insite would be greatly appreciated

I can’t see the video because I’m on my iPhone but is The sync set to open? Are the in points on each track in the correct, synchronised place? Check this tutorial to double check you havent missed a step, which is easy to do: https://mobi.creativecow.net/article/harrington_richard/final_cut_multicam_edit
(cheers to Rich again for another great tutorial).

the only thing I can think of is if the apple intermediate codec is causing issues, so i’m re-encoding everything in prores 422 and we’ll see if that fixes anything.
