I have a 4 camera multiclip project where the cameras angles have all been synced by holding ctrl-shift over their angle view. The problem I have is that, each camera runs out of tape at different times.

I’m trying to figure out the best way to use multiclip. I thought I would break the 2 hour project into several multiclips. The 2nd multiclip would include cam1_tape2 which is starting fresh at the beginning, and then add the other cameras, using the same camX_tape1 with now much later in-points.

How can I set the in point of these other cameras without using the ctrl-shift trick. I need to set the new inpoints of these other camera to be about 45 minutes after their starting point. This would take forever dragging with ctrl-shift.

    Thanks for any help

Just made a sub-clip of the existing cameras with the new in point.
    Easy…

While this works, ideally, It seems that I should be able to have a single multi-clip for this whole project and just add each tape from each camera as a separate angle. Without the ability to sync the in-point of these angles to something other than to their beginnings or their ends, this seems impossible.

If anyone knows a way to specify the offset for a video that is part of a multi-clip, please let me know.
