    Hi,

Long time viewer, first time poster 🙂

I’m currently editing a 2 hour, 2 camera interview using the multiclip feature on FCP. The colour balance and contrast of the two camera’s is slightly different, and i’d like to rectify this. I used the 3 way CC filter on the source files before I created the multiclip, but when they’re in the multiclip sequence, i’m seeing the original un cc’d versions. Do I need to CC, then export, then re-import?

Not sure what the best work around is, so any help would be great. I know that Colour correction generally happens last in the editing process, but I think it’ll take me too long to work it that way, but I may be wrong. Any suggestion most welcome.

    Thanks for you help guys,

    Matt

    1) Bring the multiclip up in the viewer window
    2) In the little pulldown that is the farthest right above the image, check SHOW SOURCE ANGLE EFFECTS

This will show your color corrected footage in your multiclip.

    Hi Bob,

That’s just what I was after, thank you!

    Dave,

I am aware of the paste attributes function, but I thought there may be a way of applying my CC without having to select every other clip (of which there are going to be lots of!)

    Thanks for your help guys,

    Matt
