I find Multipclip editing very useful, but how do you create a multi-clip if the camera one footage is over two files and camera two is over three files. This often happens when you are recording to cards or hard disk.

How do you merge the two camera one files and three camera two files so multiclip can see them as one synced camera one file and another synced camera two file that can then be multiclipped?

The FCP Manual tells how to do this IF your clips all have matching time code. In other words, if all your cameras on the set were synchronized to the same time code for the duration of the shoot (Vol II, P. 244).

Or, how about put all the C1 clips in a sequence, export Quicktime Movie (Current Settings, Self-Contained), then import that movie as the new C1?
