I have multi cameras shooting freerun tod timecode and I would like to edit them up as a multiclip edit. Is it possible to create multiclips in P2? Do I have to manually arrange them on the timeline to get the timecode breaks correct? Cant quite get my head around this one.

Well, if you shot all cameras with one non-stop shot, and imported that into FCP, FCP would stitch together all the separate MXF files (as they have a 4GB limit)…and then you could use the multicam feature. But, if your shooters started and stopped a lot (the bane of multicamera shooting, and people who do that need to be flogged…or force to try to DEAL WITH IT in post) then I have a great option for you…called PLURAL EYES:

This will automatically sync your footage on the timeline based on audio waveform…and it is very slick.
