I’m editing a wedding and I’m trying to figure out this mulitcamera editing deal. I’ve tried it a couple times following the book but i can’t get it to work right. I only have two angles. I’ve synced the clips up in the timeline. One on top of the other. Where do i go from here?

You don’t do it in the timeline. Try going through it one step at a time, once more time, but forget the timeline for now. You select the sync points and then command-slect the two clips, left-click and choose make multiclip. then move the multiclip to the timeline.

I know it’s weird the first few times. But the manual has the best explanation and, after you’ve worked it out four or five times, it’s pretty easy.

Well i’ve made the multi clip. When i bring it to the timeline and play it to try swith the cameras the two images in the viewer dont’ play. Why is this?

You haave to set the sync (hte center button on the top in the canvas) to Open. Then what ever is palying in the timeline will play in the viewer as well.

The problem was the sync mode. I changed it to open and it works fine. Thanks.
