I have a multicam project that I need to replace all of my multicam groups on my timeline with their master clips. Is there any sort of macro for this?

    1. open the console

    2. type “enablecommitmulticam” then press enter.

    3. Right click on your edited sequence in the bin.

    4. Select “Commit Multicam Edits” from the menu.

RESULT: A copy of your sequence will be made with a “.NoGroups.Copy.01” appended to the end.

    Hey Scott,

Thanks for this tip. Is there a way with multicam editing to keep the original clip names. THis is important to me because when I do my round trip I impoert an aaf to Davinci for color grading but in order to link to the source footage the clip names of the multicam edit should be the reel names.

In my opinion when using multicam editing the grouping renames the clips and it become impossible to link to the reel names agian. Do somebody knows a workaround?

    Best regards,

    Nils
