Multicam Problem: 2 cams/different frame rates
Pretty standard problem; 2 camera multi cam shoot; Camera 1 was recording at 24fps, Camera 2 was recording at 23.976. The takes are 10-20 min long and the audio sync starts to drift and I don’t want to start pulling frames and syncing by hand.
What is the best solution to converting one of the cameras to the correct frame rate?
Which camera should be converted? Better to go 23.976 to 24 or 24 to 23.976.?
Will the quality be better in Compressor than the drag and drop method in FCP X?Thanks, Joe

I’d suggest experimenting with conforming to either frame rate. Since it’s for the web it doesn’t really matter which tinecode you land on- more which syncs.
