August 31, 2011 at 8:35 pmHi
I think it is four. I am in the middle of a project on 5.5 using three cams and it is a romp – very easy to do and I am no techie. The good news is go through the piece picking your angles, even if not exactly on your cue points, then go back through adjusting the visuals, (leaving the track alone of course). Anyway it is a great feature.

August 31, 2011 at 9:46 pmHi Bob, its a great feature but pales in comparison to FCPs Multicam abilities. I get the feeling that its a high priority to get that updated for the next release.
Herb, Adobe is very responsive to user input, so if you see something that needs changing…let them know 😀

August 31, 2011 at 10:11 pmA 4 camera limit tells me that PPro was never serious about the multi-cam market, which is a shame because of all the “lost” features of FCPX, multi-cam is scheduled to be the last to be re-implemented, leaving a big opportunity for Adobe to pick up a lot of high end editors. As of now Avid seems to be the only serious multi-cam NLE left out there, and I’ve never been a big fan of their GUI.
