Multicam Freezing
I’ve been seeing a slowdown in a project for a while where now its causing severe loss of time. The sequence is fine until I add the multicam nested sequence. At that point me first sequence hangs up a few seconds each time I hit play. I’m running 3 lines of video at most 4 using a GSPEED eSata enclosure. I have a Precision T7600 32gb ram with the Quadro 5000 card in it. I can’t seem to find whats wrong, it is like Premiere is waiting for something to acknowledge before it plays. Very frustrating

What is the format of the footage you are working with? Three streams of video might be nothing if it’s proxy, like ProRes Proxy or similar. But if it’s camera raw, or even ProRes 4444…that’s huge data rate, even for an eSATA connection.
