Multicam edit with 4×3 plus 16×9
I’m responsible for editing a 3 camera vid in FCP 4. Problem is, until someone caught it, one cam of the three shot at 4×3.
I can crop and adjust the 4×3 clip to match the 16x9s, but trying to edit as a multiclip screws up the aspect ratio (duh, shoulda figured).
How then can I convert my cropped 4×3 into a usable 16×9 clip?

I’d just perform your edit, then when finished, collapse the multiclips, then correct the 4:3 camera.
Using “Find All” and “paste attributes”, this should take seconds.
