Beginning the process of switching over to using multicam to edit my 10 cam show. I’ve been manually cutting this one hour show on the timeline.
As I practice, I’ve learned that I can only run 4 or maybe 5-6 cameras before system lag becomes an issue.
It works pretty good, however, one thing.

These clips are synced by in points, no luxurious matching timecode.
There are several more clips, not included in the processed clip bin, that I need to match frame to cut in audience reacts/wide shots/etc.. Can I match frame these clips to the sequence (or can I?) Of course I can find these match frames manually, but, that’s slow and painful as there are quite a few of these shots.
BTW, I do have ambient audio on all cameras, if that helps me.

    Any ideas?

    TIA

You can use the ambient audio if it is loud enough and well defined to create multicam clips with all your material. But you can’t re-sync a multicam source a second time. You can add shots manually, as you seem to be doing. The only thing you might try is creating another multicam clip with all sources using audio to sync, then copy only the xtra clips you are talking about and paste them into the original multicam timeline.
