Multicam clip order in Premiere 7
Hello
I am making a Multi-camera out of 2 source files which are timecode synced. I can make the multicam just fine, though I don’t have any control over which angle becomes Camera 1, and which becomes Camera 2. In CS6, the angle order was determined by which clip you clicked first.
But in Premiere 7, this doesn’t seem to work. After experimenting with footage from different events, it seems that Camera 1 will automatically be the camera with the earliest time code. (The cameras didn’t start rolling at the exact same moment – one started a few seconds before the other. But they have matching time code). It doesn’t make a difference which camera was selected first before making the multi cam.
I would like to be able to force the camera that was rolling a bit later to be angle 1, but can’t find a way to do it. Perhaps I am missing something, or perhaps this is just the way it is now, and I need to figure out a work-around. Any ideas?
thanks
Mike
