    Hi,
I have this project to edit. Live concert with 4 cams (3 x 5Ds and 1 go pro).

What is the best/friendly way to edit multi cam in vagas12?

If I use the multicam tool, how do I undo/finetune edits? And I don’t like the fact that once you choose the multi cam tool you can’t go back to single track view.

A long time ago I used to used Ultimate2 bt vasst. Is that still an option?

    What is the best way?

    Thank you

I always duplicate tracks that are going to be in the multi-cam track. I use the duplicates to create that track so that the original tracks are not lost. I use multi-cam to find the locations where I switch to a different camera. I then use composite envelopes on the original tracks to implement the camera selections that I made in multi-cam. It’s a little more work, but it preserves maximum flexibility for later editing changes to the project.

Thanks Bob. That is a good workaround.
But sony could perfect this. The multi cam talk could me made in a way that preserves the original tracks and mutes some clips while showing others. Or in some other way. For me it doesn’t make sense to loose the original tracks….

You can expand multicamera track to multiple tracks.
