    Hi All,

I’m having some issues with the sdi output from my multibridge pro. When I go sdi out of the breakout box [with a decklink pal timeline] into the sdi input of our digibeta or hd cam deck the picture is a very vivid green and purple colour. The hdmi and composite outputs seem fine.

It sometimes sorts itself out with several restarts but not ideal. I have installed the latest firmware and software.

    Thanks in advance.

I’d also chek IRE setting from system prefs (mac).
I’m not sure if this mathers with SDI but i’d definetly try.

Thanks Margus, I think i had some of my system prefs wrong. I’ve now unchecked the “select dual link 4:4:4 on video output’ and that has given me the option to ‘select black ref on video output’ which has sorted the problem.

    Best regards, adam

Usually this is the case 🙂 you just have to see your prefs.

    Hey guys,

A quick note here. IRE wouldn’t effect this much, but the color sounds definately like the device was in 4:4:4 mode.

There was a bug (just fixed in 6.7) that was causing the boards to become de-synced to the control panel, and that often meant that you had to toggle the control panel settings to get them to realign. But that is fixed now.

So about the “set black ref on video out in capture” setting you toggled, that basically creates a reference to use with your deck while in capture mode. While you probably don’t need to use the setting, there is definately no problem with having it turned on.

    Sincerely,

    Joshua
