    HI all,

i have a pretty basic question about MBP.

I do alot of onsite editing with DVCam and i’d love to start working with 8 or 10bit.

    I don’t have a MacBook Pro…

Can i connect a laptop to the MBP and caputure video via a beta/digibeta Deck? if so, what is the interface? FW400/800/USB 2.0?

Is there another Blackmagic product that can do this? It would have to be compatible with a laptop

sorry for the basic questions, but i hope you can help?

    Hi Dante,

We do not make any video capture devices designed to connect with laptops. All of our products plug in to PCI, PCI-X or PCI Express slots. There are no uncompressed HD solutions for Mac laptops at this time. However you can find an uncompressed SD solution at this link.
