  Multibridge Pro & Mac Pro Problem

  Hi,

  We just installed a new Multibridge Pro in a new Mac Pro with FCP 5.1.2.
  I downloaded the 5.8 driver package and everything is upto date. I am using analog betacam and I have the HDMI connected to a Panasonic display.

  When I boot, I get the HDMI output on the display for the desktop fine.

  I set the IO control panel to component Betacam and analog audio.

  When I launch FCPro, and use an NTSC easy setup, I can’t seem to output anything from the Multibridge to the component feeding the Betacam deck. If I select bars and tone and hit play, no video, no audio on the Multibridge.

  If I Log and Capture, I do see the component input, so that is working as well as serial deck control.

  Another issue, when I load a project completed previously in FCPro with HDV and NTSC DVCPro 50 footage, the project locks up after relinking footage with the pinwheel of death. I need to open this project, but I don’t know where to start in troubleshooting the issue.

  This project was completed on a G5 system in FCP 5.1.2.

  I know it’s just that it’s a new installation and I must have overlooked something.
