We are in need of a power supply for a Multibridge (one of the first ones). If anyone has one they would be willing to sell, or even better give away, please let me know.

    Here are the specs:

    FranMar Switching Power Supply
    Model #PSU25A-13D
    Input 100-240VAC 50/60Hz 0.8A
    Output 5VDC 2.5A, 12VDC 0.8A, 12VDC 0.3A

It has a 6 pin output into the back of the Multibridge.

    Thanks,
    Mark Hendren

Have you contacted Blackmagic? They will sell you a replacement. I would buy two. I’ve had my Multibridge Extreme for almost 3 years, and I’ve already lost one power supply.

Tried it and they don’t have them at all. They have moved on to a different power supply for the newer models.

And they weren’t even willing to lead you to a supplier? Hmmm…that’s a bit shady.

They gave me the B&H order number, but B&H had no idea what it was. I’ve only been able to locate it on the manufacturer’s website, but that is less than user friendly.

    Hi Mark

Where abouts are you based? I imagine you are based in America?

Depedning on how old your Multibridge is affects how easy it is to get the power supply. The old Decklink Multibridge, Multibridge SD and Multibridge HD have a much different supply to the newer Pro and Extreme models.

We can work out what model Multibridge you have from the serial number. Why don’t you drop me an email at support-emea@blackmagic-design.com and we will have a chat about this. I can’t promise anything at the moment as I actually work from the EMEA region, but let me look into it for you.
