Multibridge extreme question (IMPORTANT PRE-PURCHASE QUESTION)
1) will MB Extreme function like a MB HD ? (other wise, if I have a Decklink HD pro”single link” and I conect it to the MB Extreme like I would an MB HD will it function the same as the MB HD ? and will I have the added advantage of the DVI out ?).
2) When Will the PC-X adapter card for the MB Extreme be shipped and how much will it cost, or should I even bother as I own 3 Decklink cards and one happens to be a Decklink HD Pro single link…..?
I am not quit ready to buy in on the new Dual Core (dual Processor ) Quad and am still running the Dual 2gig G5.
I want to move into a Multibridge for the Analog HD capture and would like the dvi monitor as a all-in-one monitor solution (which is not included on the MB HD ….. 🙂Luke, Grant anyone at BMD, please rsvp as I want to spend more money on BMD product today/tomorrow/

Yes, it works as a standalone comverter or via PCIe.

If you have a PCI-X HD Pro Single Link I wouldn’t bother sweating about the PCIe-PCI-X bridge unless you need Dual Link right now.
Simply use the MBE in standalone mode with your HD Pro Single Link.

Just to be clear: I will be able to use the DVI out in Standalone mode, yes?
If so I will be placing my order for a MBE and 23″ Apple LCD today/tomorrow.
