    Hi Everyone,

I’ve been scouring around for a solution for this but to no avail:

For a broadcaster I need to supply a split track DVCProHD Quicktime file with 8 audio tracks (Stereo 1+2, Sync 3+4, Music 5+6 and VO 7+8). I cannot work out an easy way to do this: I’ve tried exporting with direct out, exporting as a quicktime ref and then squeezing etc…. Nothing seems to work. I either get a file with no audio at all or all the tracks mixed down into one.
Still trying to work out why I’m not allowed to give them an MXF but that’s another problem…

Any suggestions??? Thanks for the help in advance.

    Drew

    Does the following not work?

    Create a sequence that has
    stereo L on A1
    stereo R on A2
    Sync L on A3
    Sync R on A4
    Mus L on A5
    Mus R on A6
    VO L on A7
    VO R on A8

Export Same as Source, with Direct Out selected in the audio tab.
Open the result in QT Player Pro.
    Choose Window->Show Movie Properties
    Select the Soundtrack.
See you have 8 channels of audio listed in the right side window. They will likely all be routed “mono”. Click on that and set each track as Left or Right.
    Save the QT.
