Activity Forums VEGAS Pro Multi-select import order ?

Trying to do a quick slideshow. Image filenames are numbered (001.jpg, 002.jpg, 003.png, etc). When I select them and drag them to the timeline Vegas (Pro 9) seems to be doing a random order instead of filename order. And it’s different each time. Haven’t been able to find a setting for this anywhere. Options/Edit has settings for xition time, image time, etc, but nothing for import ordering.

IIRC, all the older versions all defaulted to filename order.

Is there something I’m missing? Bug??

    Thanks,

The one that you drag will be FIRST. The rest will be in numerical order. So make sure you drag the first one. What’s WINDOW’s convention of doing things.

That was it! Thank YOU! As many times as I used to do multi-selects like that I can’t believe I never ran in to that before. Must have accidentally grabbed the first one instead of just somewhere in the middle of the select like I was doing today.
