  Multi Deck Playback

  Hi,

  Don’t know if this is the right forum, apologies if not.

  I have been asked to record a university seminar workshop with multiple camera’s, 8 in total with 16 Mic’s. 8 recorders, two mic’s per recorder easy peasy.

  The problem is that they want to have the recorders sync’d so that they can play them all back at the same time! They probably won’t want to view more than two pictures from any given session but they will want to hear sound from all microphones. I have thought of doing it with a bank of AJA Ki pro Mini’s or the new recorder from Hyperdeck recorder blackmagic.

  My question is what is the best way to ensure that all recorders and in particular their audio stay in sync and to control playback.
