Hi! The company I work for is at 100% work from home during this coronavirus pandemic. The executives have decided that they want to each create a 30 second clip with their mobile devices that I could edit together to distribute to our staff (words of encouragement, etc.). This will end up being about 20 people creating videos. What is the best/easiest way for them to get me their content? Is there a platform online that is designed for this kind of thing? Dropbox? Vimeo? We have has some issues with iCloud working consistently. And, these are executives… they aren’t the most technologically savvy bunch! It doesn’t have to be free, I am willing to pay for a good solution. Thanks!

If you used something like Telestream Wirecast, you could have them remote in on the Wirecast mobile app, and record the output to your local disk. This would give you the benefit of coaching them on lighting and camera placement. Otherwise, something like Dropbox or WeTransfer will probably be your best bet.

I am already doing this with my team. Mobile videos arent very heavy files. A free google drive 15 GB account is good enough. All team members may have to download the footage locally and work. You all can download google sync to sync all local folders to the drive. Just ensure that teams are not writing on the same files or projects at the same time. Reading the same file is ok.
