Put two clips into a timeline, sync’d them up and trimmed the heads so they start at the same point.

Put those two clips back into the browser. Selected them and made a multi clip. BUT when i start to edit the multiclip, one clip is off by about 30 frames. Checked the clips individually by dragging them both into a timeline and they line up just fine.

    What’s up?

    Chuck,

That’s not the way to do mulitclips.
Assuming you don’t have similar timecode,
just go to each clip and pick a similar start point of reference,
like someone saying something or a musical note or whatever.
Mark those points as in points. Write down the timecode number.
Maybe back up from there 30 or 60 frames so you have handles.
Then make your multiclips from those inpoints.
You don’t need to do what you did. More work than necessary.

    Dan
