I hope someone can give me some help here – I’m going slowly crazy….

I have a bunch of QuickTime files shot with no field dominance. When they were brought into FCP (by someone else) they did not tell FCP that they were NOT “Upper (Odd) field” dominance. They then edited them into a multiclip, and thence to the timeline. I have gone through all the source clips and told FCP that they are “none” field dominance, but cannot tell FCP that “Angle (1) V1” and “Angle (2) V1” are NOT Upper (Odd) dominance (see screen grab below). The source files (71923_01_03_Brands_A_01 etc.) are “none”, now I’ve corrected that in FCP. But that does not follow through into the multiclip. If I right-click on “Upper (Odd)” in this settings window of the multiclip, no menu appears. Any ideas, anyone, please?!

Oh, and the footage (predictably) looks awful in the timeline (which is also set to “none” dominance) because of the field issues. It also looks awful if I export it.

    UPDATE….
I have gone through every occurrence of the clips in the timeline my project and (very tediously) changed each clip to “none”, which works. Bizarrely, the Multiclip settings window still insists they’re “Odd”. Yes, it’s definitely very odd.

Isn’t it marvellous how computers speed up mind-numbing, repetitive tasks??!!!!!!!!!
