I recently purchased the Comica CVM-WM100 Plus UHF 48-Channel Wireless Dual Lavalier Microphone System and used it for a video project inside an academic building. Everything seemed fine till I started getting loud clicks and electronic squeals! Luckily this wasn’t a professional project!

I did my research, foolishly, on YouTube and obviously got burned!

Now I must find a reliable and professional dual lav system. Can you please refer one to me?

The Audi-Technicas and Sennheisers are apparently beyond my allowance but I WILL NOT get into a professional situation that leaves me with unusable footage!

    I found:
Saramonic UwMic9 2-Person Camera-Mount Wireless Omni Lavalier Microphone System for 399.00 but it’s apparently meant to compete with ‘Comic’a!

I very much need to know if this additional audio purchase of Sarmonic will leave me having to purchase again at the 1000.00 range, leaving me 1600.00 out of pocket since the first 2 items were misrepresented as “professional”!

    Any help is appreciated-Gary

Hi- very likely the issue you had was caused in that venue by someone else or some other kit interfering or clashing with the frequencies you were on.
Spending thousands will not stop that happening.
What will stop that happening is doing research or scan in ANY venue about other rf frequencies in use / that ever get used there, and moving away from those. I don’t know the device you have so cant say if it can be adjusted but you need to be on frequencies that are away from others, irrespective of wether your radios are in the budget or high end bracket.
Im PRESUMING that you’re using radios because you need freedom of movement? If not consider wired mics?
