Multi-camera sync w/ P2
I’ve been using multicamera editing for years with tape, now I’ve converted to P2 and what would be one long clip (for an hour live program) on tape, log and transfers in as 7 or 8 individual clips. I have always used the method of syncing “in” points and “make multiclip” but now do I have to do it each time there is a new clip? Is there some way to link together the individual P2 transfered clips into one or do I have to place them in a timeline and export one QT movie?

Did you stop rolling the P2 camera? If not, then the footage should come in as one long clip, if you use Log and Transfer. Third party MXF reader Calibrated doesn’t stitch them. I believe that MXF4Mac does…
